After their March 18 overtime win against Bellermine, the Vashon Vultures lacrosse team dropped two games.

Vashon bounced back from their losses and in a rematch against Klahowya, and the Vultures won the game, 14-11. Vashon was up 7 points in the fourth, but Klahowya had a late quarter rally and closed the gap. Scoring was led by seniors Ezra Ende, 6 goals; Winter Krimmert, 3 goals and 3 assists; sophomore Dawit Tuller-Ross, 2 goals, and freshman Max Schira, 2 goals, 3 assists. Lorenzo Higuera rounded out the scoring with his first goal of the season.

Vashon moved to the top of the conference with a dominating win over North Kitsap, 20-7, last Saturday.

Scoring was once again led by the duo of Ende and Krimmert, each tallying 5 goals and combining for five of the eight assists. Tuller Ross again contributed his 2 goals and an assist, while fellow sophomore Elliott Carlton found his groove and netted 3 goals. Freshman Max Schira found the net three times and added two assists, while senior Vincent Deblasi and freshman Diego Gray-Wishik each scored their first goal of the season.

The defense played inspired lacrosse, with Duncan McMillan making 11 saves and the close-in defense holding North Kitsap to 7 points.

Vashon looks to stay on top of their conference as they head into the heart of their schedule.
