Jeff served in the Gulf War, and the family had a wide variety of postings, including Alaska, Idaho, Germany and finally North Dakota. Returning to Vashon, Jeff became an employee of the Ferry System, rising to become Vessel Project Engineer.

An introverted person, he is remembered for his quirky sense of humor. Jeff’s devotion to his family was paramount in his life, and he liked nothing better than riding motorcycles with his brother Todd, especially after realizing his lifelong dream of owning a Harley-Davidson. He also enjoyed seeing all the latest super-hero movies!
