Capping a great regular season with a perfect league record of 12-0, a record number of Vashon High School baseball players and their coach received numerous Nisqually League awards.

A total of eight players received first team recognition. League coaches voted junior Ashton Dulfer League MVP. He led the league in batting average and had a good year from the mound.

Seniors filled out the first-team group with Jeremy Pilgrim-Stoppel as pitcher, Chester Pruett at catcher, Logan Hawkins and Clyde Pruett for infield, Sam Schoenberg and Simon Perrin in the outfield and Harper Whitney as utility player.

Head Coach Steve Hall was named Nisqually League Coach of the Year for the first time in his 13-year stint. He has led the team to the playoffs all but three years, and this year marks the third time he has captained a team to the state tournament. In recognition of his hard work, he has been named coach of the All League State Feeder game June 1 at Foss High School in Tacoma. This game combines the top local senior players across multiple classifications to play in a fun-filled exhibition game.
