Vashon came out strong the second half, with another goal by Adams, assisted by senior Emily Serebryakov.

With two minutes left in the game, down by one, Vashon pushed hard, earning an exciting, crowd-cheering game-tying goal by Serebryakov, assisted by Adams.

Islanders can catch the team’s next home game at Vashon High School at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, against Seattle Academy.
