Vashon’s Luke Larson places at State

VHS grappler Luke Larson took second place in his weight class at the WIAA State tournament last weekend. Larson made it to the semi-finals by dominating his first two opponents, and to the finals after a come-from-behind victory over a highly-ranked wrestler from Colville. Larson fell in the final to a super-star from Medical Lake. Larson is now Vashon’s fifth four-time State placer, and was also named to the Academic All-Sate Team for the second straight year.
