Islander Jason Everett’s new prog-rock-jazz-funk ensemble Pandamonium will debut at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Red Bike.

“Pandamonium is a group I have been thinking about for a few years. I wanted to showcase some of my compositions that are more funk and rock in a group that is fun to both listen to and dance to,” Everett said.

The band features island musicians Wes Peterson on drums, Tony Mann on keyboards and former islander Ken Jacobsen on guitars. Steve Meyers, who went to high school with Everett and lives in Wallingford, plays saxes and flute.

The free show is for all ages until 11 p.m., then ages 21 and older only.
