Triple Crown of Hiking: Islander recounts her tales

Lizzy “Laugh Track” Corliss will show photos and tell tales — both harrowing and joyful — about hiking the 3,000-mile Continental Divide Trail (CDT) at 6 p.m. Friday at the Land Trust Building.
Corliss is one of an elite few who has completed the so-called Triple Crown of Hiking by completing the three major U.S. long-distance trails: the Pacific Crest Trail the Appalachian Trail and the Continental Divide Trail. Between April of 2014, and November of 2016, Corliss logged the 8,000 miles and 1 million feet of vertical elevation that form the Triple Crown.
