Silver screen romance: Tying the knot at Vashon Theatre

Gordon and Eileen Wolcott would like to announce the marriage of their son, Jacob Wolcott to Rebecca Myers, daughter of Lisa and the late Jake Myers, at 2 p.m. June 3, 2023, at Vashon Theatre.

It was an emotional ceremony that was full of music and movie references, which was followed by a surprise live set by Star Anna. The wedding was officiated by Becca’s oldest brother, Jeff Myers.

The reception was held in the Theatre’s new outdoor space, The Backlot, immediately after the wedding, with a DJ set by Ralph Reign.

Jake is the manager of Vashon Theatre and Becca is a medical assistant in West Seattle for Swedish. She also manages Vashon Theatre’s social media accounts.

The couple flew to Toronto for their honeymoon, where they explored the city and ate lots of good food, and attended a show to see two of their favorite bands — Alexisonfire and PUP — perform together.
