December starts out artful with cruise, tour

Step out on the town from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, to take in the sights and sounds of Vashon’s monthly gallery cruise, and get a jump on a bountiful weekend of art, courtesy of Vashon Island Visual Artists’ Holiday Studio Tour. On the tour, taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 7, 8, 14 and 15, you’ll find jewelry, textiles, woodworks, photography, paintings, ceramics, sculpture and so much more.
