PSE projects: Puget Sound Energy road crews have been working across the island on utility projects this summer, including upgrading and replacing existing overhead electric wire with “tree wire,” a tougher and thicker type of power line, and replacing aging utility poles.
Project locations include:
• 115th Avenue SW, SW 156th Street and 119th Avenue SW — already completed.
• 75th Avenue SW between Southwest 240th Street and Southwest 257th Street — anticipated to be completed late this summer.
• 99th Avenue SW, SW 280th Street and 101st Avenue SW — anticipated to be completed this fall.
• SW Dock Street and Dockton Road SW — anticipated to be completed this winter.
• 87th Avenue SW and Tramp Harbor Road SW — anticipated to be completed in spring 2026.
