I’m writing to express my gratitude and urge the continued support of the Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation. As a member of the 1990 graduating class at Vashon High School, I was fortunate to receive a scholarship sponsored by the K2 Corporation. Their financial generosity enabled me to pursue my coursework without excessive financial stress.

As the costs of collegiate and vocational education continue to increase, these scholarships make a significant impact on the lives of Vashon High School graduates as they did in mine.
