It broke my heart to hear of the PlaySpace having to cut its programs due to loss of funding. I’m hoping there are angel donors out there that will support this vital program to families with small children. Many of these families have young parents, are low-income or single parent, or just needing some extra care.

The PlaySpace has offered three generations of our family their services. We enjoyed parent coaching for foster parenting and parent education and support for other family members. Then there is the safe play area. When the weather is bad and for those living in small quarters with few toys, this is a great area for kids.

If we, as a community, don’t intervene when young parents are struggling, who will? Some don’t have the advantage of a support system or nearby extended family. With 10,000 kids in foster care in this state, we need the support of the PlaySpace and all its staff. Please join us in supporting the PlaySpace.
