There’s nothing to complain about at the quilt shop

Are you kidding me? With all the vacant Vashon rental space, the quilt shop can’t find a place to move? Go to K2, go to the old Indian food restaurant.

Here’s how it works, people. When someone puts out the capital to buy a building in order to expand their own business and their renter agrees to a 30-days notice to vacate, once they’re given notice to vacate, they have 30 days to vacate. But my understanding is that the new buyer gave them 90 days and money to move besides. Why are we still talking about this? In a capitalistic market, if the quilt shop wants to stay, buy the building. If the town’s people that don’t like the change, don’t use the new business moving there, and stop your whining!
