Olive Louise Frazier died Aug. 12, 2004, at her home on Vashon after an extended illness. She was 86 years old.

She was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Paulina, Ore., to Homer and Laura York.

She was married to Donald W. Frazier on Dec. 26, 1941. She gave up her teaching career after marriage to raise a family. He died earlier.

Survivors include her six children: Sharon Palmer (Charlie) of Vashon, Bonnie Raume (Ron) of Vashon, Duane Frazier (Carmen) of Omak, Jackie Lorance (Dana) of Vashon, Elaine Ericksen (Erick) of Vashon and Diana Wahlman (Erik) of Shingletown, Calif. Additional survivors include 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Services were Aug. 16 at Island Funeral Home.
