VHS football team still looking for first win

The Vashon Island High School varsity football team continues to struggle in the early season and suffered another brutal loss at home last Friday against the Lions of Concrete High School.
Concrete soundly defeated Vashon 66-0, bringing the VHS season record to 0-3. The Vashon Pirates will play their first league game against Klahowya at 5 p.m. Friday at Silverdale Stadium. They will come back home the following week for a 6 p.m. league game against Coupeville.
