Community sentiment supports keeping the gem that is Island Quilter on Vashon in the heart of town. Most islanders recognize that Island Quilter is a huge asset to Vashon, bringing lots of people here to shop, eat, visit other island businesses, galleries, farm stands and events.

Is there any way that the buyers could be helped to reconsider their tone-deaf plan? Could someone step up to help the realtors, buyers and sellers come up with a win-win solution?

The loss of Island Quilter would ricochet throughout our island community. Many more would feel its absence than just quilters and sewers.
