I was disappointed that the article about the closing of the quilt shop (“Quilt shop to move off-island as building sells,” Feb. 18) lacked much information from the sellers about the sale.

I should think the complaint of the changes coming for the quilt shop should be directed to the sellers. It doesn’t seem right to make the persons buying the shop the “bad guys” here. The many letters in last week’s Beachcomber spoke of the economic impact to Vashon of the sale of this property. Were the sellers not aware of this?
