We are presently living in the Vashon Community Care facilty (VCC). This is situated on Vashon Island, and it is the only one of its kind for older people and their lifestyle.

It is staffed by a collection of angels of both sexes and various shapes and sizes that we have christened “angels without wings.”

It is also a lovely building surrounded by nature, with gardens available to residents for exercise and pleasure.

Residents are made to feel as though it is our own home. We are served three full meals a day, most of which are cooked on the premises.

We have many different nationalities amongst us, and we love to cross-question them about their native countrymen and their religious preferences, countries and birthplaces.
